Super Helpful Tip For Working Moms

Last week, I ignored my cell phone for an hour as I was in a meeting. Little did I know that it was the school nurse calling me because my son cut his eye and needed stitches. Needless to say, I felt TERRIBLE! What is a working mom to do? She can’t answer every call while she works! So, a friend gave me a great idea! I signed up for google voice. It’s totally free! I set a phone number that is ONLY to be used as an emergency number. I will give it to my children’s school, husband, etc. I set it so that it shows up as the google number which I named on my phone as “Emergency”. How can something so simple be so brilliant! Thank you google for making my life as a working mom a little easier!

Some phones also offer visual voice mail. It is an awsome tool because it atomatically turns your voice mail into something that you can read and see like a text message so you can quickly skim voice mail and make sure you are not missing anything important!
